January, 2019 – Conner Healthcare Group has worked with Dr. Warner Ray and his team at Radiation Oncology Services (ROS) to successfully sell his interest in radiation oncology centers to his partners, Piedmont Healthcare (three centers – https://www.piedmont.org/about-piedmont-healthcare/media-room/stories/news-article?story=4163&type=1 ) and Wellstar Health Center (one center). Ken worked with Dr. Ray and ROS through the planning, negotiation, valuation and closing to reach a satisfactory transition to hospital ownership.
January 31, 2018 – The State of Tennessee has granted a Certificate of Public Advantage (COPA) to Ballad Health System, the merger of Mountain States Health Alliance and Wellmont Health System. Conner Healthcare Group provided support to the Attorney General’s office and the Department of Health on a number of issues related to the Terms of Certification underlying the COPA, including areas of pricing, baseline spending, physician employment, charity care and others.
